Position Overview

Adecco is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our production team as an Extrusion Assistant I. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing. In this role, you will support the extrusion production process by packaging finished products, performing quality inspections, assisting machine operators, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Package finished rolls according to production specifications and customer requirements

  • Inspect finished products for visible defects and report quality concerns

  • Apply labels and complete production documentation accurately

  • Assist operators with machine startups, shutdowns, and product changeovers

  • Monitor winding and packaging areas to ensure safe and efficient operation

  • Supply packaging materials and remove finished product as needed

  • Perform quality checks and maintain accurate production records

  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards

  • Communicate equipment, quality, or production issues to supervisors and operators

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required

  • Ability to read measuring tools and follow work instructions

  • Basic math and reading skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Willingness to work overtime and rotating schedules as needed

  • Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills

  • Eagerness to learn extrusion and blown film manufacturing processes

Pay Details: $17.00 to $17.50 per hour
