Stretchly is a veteran owned, new concept business in a growing boutique fitness industry. Stretchly offers clients & members one-on-one assisted stretching and personalized wellness programs anchored around three pillars of fitness: mobility, recovery, and performance. Stretching improves mobility, slows the effects of aging, encourages daily wellness, increases endorphins, and aids in fitness recovery. Our customers range all age groups, demographics, body types, and lifestyles. It is our vision to inspire wellness in the community and build a team that shares in that vision.

Assisted Stretching is growing in awareness and popularity daily. People are increasingly becoming more wellness minded and multiple generations are finding value in what consistent stretching can do for their lifestyles, hobbies, pain management, energy levels and more. Stretchly is not a corporate franchise with a laser focus on the bottom line. We aim to sell value first, believing that true customer value leads to loyalty, revenue and memberships. The Role: The FLEXpert™ is the heart of our business. They perform 1:1 assisted stretching and wellness coaching for our members, but most importantly, they build relationships. A FLEXpert™ will be trained in Stretchly’s methodology and process once hired. In addition to in-studio work, FLEXperts™ will periodically be asked to participate in pop-up events at local fitness centers and golf-courses.

  • FLEXpert™ is the entry level role for this position and comes with a set compensation.
  • Sr. FLEXpert™ is achieved when a FLEXpert™ reaches a set amount of reoccurring bookings or revenue / month. This promotion comes with both title and pay increase.

Who is right for this role? Someone who is: Social, Wellness Minded, Fitness Certified, Organized, Empathic, Receptive to criticism, Punctual, and Collaborative. A FLEXpert™ must also have strong situational awareness and multitasking skills to verbally and visually communicate with our customers throughout the session.

HOURS: Part-Time (approx. 18 - 32 per week) - Flexible Schedule arrangements available

Responsibilities:

  • Perform one-on-one assisted stretches for intro clients and members.
  • Completion of Stretchly internal training.
  • Customize and tailor stretch routines based on client needs.
  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions.
  • Provide meaningful value to customers and members with each interaction.
  • Ensure safety of clients during each interaction.
  • Enforce polices and safety rules.
  • Provide wellness coaching and fitness advice to customer and members.
  • Utilize social media to help spread the word and build our brand.
  • Contribute improvement suggestions during monthly staff meetings and required trainings.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables and equipment.
  • Assist Guest Coordinators and Studio Manager with studio tours, offsite events, and sales as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for wellness, fitness and connecting with people.
  • Required background: A professional training certification, college degree, or fitness certificate that is accepted by Stretchly. See Details Below.
  • This includes: Certified Athletic Trainer, Personal Trainer or Sports Coach, CrossFit Coach, Occupational Therapist, Licensed Physical Therapist (or PT aid), Sports Medicine, Chiropractic students, etc.

  • Must be able to complete required NASM Certification for stretching. All certifications required will be paid for by Stretchly.

Certifications: We require our FLEXperts™ to have a degree, license, or reputable certification in fitness, personal training, sports medicine, exercise science, physical & occupational therapy, or strength & conditioning. Stretchly will reimburse the NASM CES for all candidates as well as any certification you are asked to pursue while employed.

Compensation

  • $25/hr (15/hr base rate & $10/hr when stretching members)
  • Promotion to Sr. FLEXpert™ starts with a pay raise to $16/hr base rate & $12/hr bonus for a full stretch.
