Pitts EVSE Solutions is a fast-growing leader in electric vehicle charging infrastructure. We specialize in the turn-key installation, maintenance, and deployment of EV charging systems for commercial, fleet, and residential clients. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to clean transportation by delivering reliable, high-quality EVSE solutions.
Position Overview
We are seeking a self motivated, quick learner to fill the role of EVSE Installer 1 (entry level) in support of our South Florida based EV charging station installation crew. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, detail oriented, safety focused, with a strong desire to grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the installation of underground conduit, rebar, concrete foundations, EVSE equipment, and electrical components under supervision
· Participate in daily Job Hazard Analysis discussions and Tool Box Talks
· Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
· Participate in all safety and career development training
· Maintain job site organization, cleanliness, and proper material handling
· Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Qualifications
· 1+ years of experience working in an outside construction environment
· Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions
· Ability to bend, squat, kneel for extended periods
· Experience operating mini excavator, skid steer preferred
· Basic understanding of construction job site operations
· Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
· Willingness to learn multiple trades related to EV infrastructure
· Clean valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
· Maintain reliable transportation to report to various jobsite locations
Compensation
· $20 – $24 per hour (based on experience)
· $500 sign on bonus paid after 6 months successful employment
· Overtime available
