Job Summary
Assist the Troy University IDEA Bank in event management, programmatic support, and daily administrative tasks. Primary duties include:
  • Overseeing all bookable spaces at the IDEA Bank's downtown facility and coordinating event setup
  • Assisting members with room reservations, technology, and other member benefit fulfillment
  • Assisting walk-in guests with informational tours
  • Quality assurance of shared workspaces and technology
  • Scheduling and directing students for advising meetings
  • Membership Program execution, including data entry and assembly of new member packets/gifts
  • Marketing support, including social media assistance, graphic updates, flyer delivery, on-campus tabling, etc.
  • Assisting with Idea Vault Podcast Studio equipment setup and oversight
  • Assisting with Student-Made Store operations, including product labeling, store displays, etc.

This position will work closely with the IDEA Bank Program and Marketing Coordinator and requires regular, reliable transportation to the IDEA Bank in downtown Troy.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a current Troy University graduate student enrolled in at least six credit hours.
Please note: Student positions are FICA/Medicare exempt only if students are enrolled in classes during the semester in which the work is performed. To qualify for the FICA/Medicare exemption, you must be enrolled on a half-time basis for the Fall, Spring, or Summer.

Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?
