Experience: 0-2 years of labor and employment practice experience. This is an entry-level position.

All applicants must be admitted to practice law in New York.

  • Handle employment cases from client intake to judgment enforcement.
  • Meet with clients and potential clients.
  • Conduct initial investigations and legal research.
  • Prepare demand letters.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery demands, and responses.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Prepare motion papers.
  • Participate in mediations and arbitrations.
  • Assist in trials.
