Job description

HD Fowler Company is seeking a full-time experienced Acumatica ERP Tech Analyst to serve as a strategic supporting role for our ERP Manager with hands-on Acumatica technical experience, to bring in our Acumatica Cloud ERP environment. This role will report directly to the ERP manager and work closely with leadership and various departments to improve Acumatica integration with business processes. Position based at our Corporate Office in Bellevue, WA until ERP goes live, then hybrid option.
Role Impact
The ERP Technical Support Analystis responsible for helping business units, partners, and internal teams troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to the Acumatica ERP platform. The role blends technical troubleshooting, application support, business analysis, and End Users service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support for Acumatica ERP, responding to End Users and partner inquiries within SLA timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze application issues across modules (Finance, Distribution, CRM, etc.) using logs, SQL queries, and Acumatica diagnostic tools.
  • Reproduce and document issues in the service desk system and escalate complex cases to senior support teams.
  • Guide users through solutions via phone, chat, email, or remote sessions, ensuring clear communication and high End Users satisfaction.
  • Analyze End Users business processes to understand how issues impact workflows and recommend appropriate fixes or improvements.
  • Educate End Users on best practices and effective use of Acumatica features.
  • Manage service requests, track progress, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support configuration reviews across key functional areas; including business events, approval workflows, import/export scenarios, dashboards, generic inquiries, and field-level setup.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT). Coordinating with department SMEs, tracking defects and resolving if possible, prior to escalation.
  • Support data validation efforts. Reviewing migrated records, flagging anomalies, and coordinating with the ERP Manager and project team on data quality issues.
  • Serve as a department-level resource for Acumatica questions during training rollout, helping end users understand new workflows in the context of their day-to-day work.

Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency with Acumatica ERP navigation, modules, and configuration.
  • Ability to work with SQL, generic inquiries, reports, and dashboards.
  • Understanding of API integrations, import scenarios, and automation schedules.
  • Familiarity with third-party addons (e.g., Avalara, shipping integrations).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally Acumatica.
  • Acumatica badges or certifications are preferred but not required
