Job description

Job Title: Logistics & Inventory Coordinator (Industrial Operations)
Location: Rio Rancho Area, NM Experience: Entry Level (0-2 Years) Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our collaborative operations team. In this entry-level role, you will be a key contributor to daily warehouse and supply chain success, overseeing inventory management, procurement support, and overall warehouse functionality. You will utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office to track assets, coordinate with vendors, and ensure the seamless movement of materials across various departments. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to develop a career in industrial logistics within a safe, organized, and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet operational demands. Conduct regular audits and reconcile digital records with physical counts to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee the safe storage, labeling, and distribution of goods. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
• Procurement Support: Assist in communicating with supply vendors, obtaining price quotes, and maintaining documentation for purchase orders and shipping records.
• Systems Management: Utilize CMMS software to schedule, track, and close out work orders. Ensure all data entry regarding parts, equipment, and chemicals is accurate and timely.
• Process Improvement: Identify operational deficiencies within the warehouse and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Department Managers and technical staff to source replacement parts and third-party services essential for daily operations.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all established safety procedures (SOPs) and assist in conducting ongoing safety programs to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and a high level of comfort learning new data management systems.
• Core Skills: * Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
