Job Description
Join our Process Sciences team and gain real hands-on experience in cell culture and bioprocessing. This role is perfect for individuals who are excited about lab work, learning new techniques, and contributing to meaningful scientific projects.
What You'll Do
  • Work both independently and collaboratively in a client-focused lab environment
  • Support small-scale experiments and essential lab operations, such as:
    • Media and buffer preparation
    • Aliquoting and aseptic transfers
    • Bioreactor builds and probe calibrations
    • Autoclaving and general lab support
  • Run cell culture experiments from shake flask to bioreactor
  • Assist with sample analysis and maintain accurate, organized records

  • Support development of planning/scheduling tools or lab metrics automation

  • Familiarity with small-scale fed-batch bioreactors (2L) (preferred)
  • cGMP experience is a plus
  • Strong focus, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM shifts when needed.
  • Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.

Additional Information
  • Position is full-time Mon-Fri, 2nd shift (6pm-2:30am).
    • Applicants must have the ability to work 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM shifts when needed.
  • Compensation range: $22.50 - $23.50, with an additional 10% shift differential for second-shift.
