Job description

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Entech Civil Engineers, Inc. (Entech) is seeking transportation engineers for positions ranging from entry level to licensed engineers to join our planning and schematics team in Houston, Texas. To be considered for these positions, applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Experience in schematic design is preferred but not required.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development of roadway schematics for transportation projects.
  • Prepare drawings and exhibits to support public involvement and attend public meetings.
  • Develop engineering reports, quantities, and construction cost estimates.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • EIT certification or professional engineering license is preferred.
  • General knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads Designer software preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
