The Position

As the Associate SAP TM Analyst, you will be responsible for for configuring, testing, deploying and supporting SAP Transportation Management solutions on client TM functional teams. This is an entry level position working under close supervision of senior analysts to gain hands-on experience and build a strong understanding of the fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Focuses on foundational tasks related to learning the SAP TM system, understanding transportation management processes, and supporting more experienced team members.
  • Participates/shadows in meetings with business and functional teams.
  • Assists senior analysts with system configuration, conducting basic testing, documenting processes, and providing support to end-users.
  • Focuses on gaining hands-on experience and building a strong understanding of the fundamentals before taking on more complex responsibilities.
  • Assists senior analysts in configuring SAP TM and works with SAP developers to deliver custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows, working toward increased experience and independence.
  • Performs basic testing and troubleshooting of SAP TM to ensure alignment with documented business process and requirements.
  • Participates in end-to-end testing and provides support for go-live activities under close supervision.
  • Provides basic support for production SAP solutions and escalates complex issues to more senior analysts.
  • Works with assigned team lead, architect, and team as required.

Required/Desired Education/Experience/Skills

  • Background and/or education in logistics, distribution, MIS, IT, or other related field.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S Clearance
  • 1+ years in a professional logistics, distribution, MIS, IT, or other related field
  • Previous professional experience includes SAP use (any module)
  • Certificate in MIS, CS, IS, IT or other technical field (SAP a plus)
