Job Description:

Airbus is seeking an individual responsible for managing/monitoring all non-conformities, design deviations, OSW, and late changes to support production. Responds to technical questions and creates work orders based on non-conformities. Establishes and maintains effective communication with European Plants, on-site Production teams, Quality, Suppliers, Design Engineers, and Aircraft Managers.

Your Working Environment:

On 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus' strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Your Challenges:

  • Serve as FAL focal point regarding Plant activities and their suppliers through constant coordination and monitoring.

  • Provide technical support to X-Plant production.

  • Establish/verify the technical content of non-conformities and validate in documentation.

  • Steer/challenge all non-conformities, concessions, and OSW within assigned all Plant and Supplier responsibility.

  • Organize/facilitate regular meetings with suppliers/partners (Folio reviews, drumbeat, multi-function team (MFT), etc.).

  • Ensure non-compliance management according to Airbus and Authority rules.

  • Participate as an active team member learning and following dedicated training plans from current team members, including providing orientation support to new colleagues and trainees.

  • Additional projects as assigned

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
