JOB DESCRIPTION:
Entry level technician job in testing, quality, engineering or other technical area. Work may be in a laboratory, test area, product documentation/information team, manufacturing area, or pilot plant.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Collects/records data and provides accurate test reports and manufacturing documents.
• Ability to take direction from others on requirements to provide data back to aid in determining work methods.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities.
• Works with limited supervision.
• Performs technical support for assigned work area.
• Report recommendations for improvements to technical issues.
• Carry out test/work requests.
• Creates quality control and Standard work documentation.
• Performs safety assessment activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Evidence of responsibility for verifying product conformance to specifications either in a quality or production role
• Experienced in the area of document creation and control
• Preferred experience in an extrusion environment
• Must be able to work with and communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the company
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, and work in a fast pace flexible environment
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and present recommendations in a clear, concise, and logical manner
• Knowledge and experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability and lean manufacturing tools
• Desire to continue to grow and develop personally
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:
• Must be able to stand up to 4-6 hrs
