    Job Description

    We are seeking an Embedded Software Verification Engineer with ability to work with real-time embedded software verification.

    The ideal candidate will be capable of reliably implement a verification strategy as directed and in alignment with verification lifecycles to satisfy DO-178C objectives.

    Location: The role can be onsite (CT) or hybrid.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform verification activities as directed for embedded aerospace and defense systems including but not limited to artifact review, test case/test procedure development, analysis and results compilation.
    • Collaborate with team members and project leadership.
    • Ensure compliance of verification artifacts in accordance with DO-178C objectives.
    • Able to work with a variety of testing strategies such as simulation, integration, target hardware, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.
    • Efficient and accurate implementation of testing solutions in alignment with high-level and low-level requirements, including accurate traceability.
    • Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings.
    • Support verification efforts in alignment to developed schedules and quality objectives while interfacing with internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.
    • Strong understanding of:
      • Engineering principles
      • C/C++ or similar embedded languages
      • Python and other equivalent scripting languages
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.
    • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
    • U.S. Citizenship is required. Dual citizenship should be disclosed.
    • Possibility of travel up to two weeks per year.
