Heli-One Canada is hiring for a Aerospace Component Cleaning Technician. They will be responsible for cleaning individual engine, component and airframe parts in accordance with specified processes and chemical substances. This is an entry level position with opportunities to grow into various positions. Salary range: $40k - $42k per annum plus full benefits.


  • Master the art of precision cleaning through advanced techniques including chemical cleaning, abrasive blasting, vapor degreasing, and specialized solvent wash processes.
  • Adhere strictly to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) manual specifications, service bulletins, build sheets, quality procedures, airworthiness directives, and all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure clean parts are moved to the next operation after cleaning is complete.
  • Carrying out minor Rework processes
  • Component acid etching and cad plating processes.
  • Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Must legally be able to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or PR Card holder)
  • Experience – General Technical / Mechanical understanding
  • Education: Technical education is preferred
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality
  • Ability to make excellent decisions and set appropriate priorities
  • Some exposure to noise, fumes, gas, chemicals, dust or dirt
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment including use of full-face respiratory equipment
  • Must be able to lift a min of 35lb
  • Ability to work for long periods of standing
  • Excellent listening, verbal,  and written communication
  • Must have strong working knowledge of computer software programs
