Role Summary

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Pursuit of or have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam a plus.
• Understanding of design software; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Basic ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations (NESC, ASCE, IEEE).
• Developing analytical and organizational skills, with growing attention to detail and a willingness to learn problem-solving approaches.
• Adaptable and eager to learn, with a foundational ability to collaborate with project teams in a multi-discipline environment.
• Developing written and verbal communication skills with a strong willingness to learn and engage effectively with team members.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
Responsibilities
• Assist in designing distribution ( lt;600 V to 35 kV) systems using design software.
• Learn and apply design codes and specifications related to design requirements.
• Assist with drawing development and CAD-based design tasks.
• Engage in mentorship and structured learning opportunities with experienced engineers to build foundational skills.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of your own work through self-review and adherence to established standards.
• Support client interactions by communicating professionally and learning to understand client expectations.
• Support assigned tasks while learning to work within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Participate in occasional site walks for current projects.  Less than 5% travel.
