Are you early in your embedded software career and excited by the idea of building technology that directly improves patient outcomes? Join our Sports Medicine R&D team in Andover, MA, where you will help develop a next generation surgical endoscopic system used by surgeons around the world. This is a hybrid role where your work will contribute to real world innovation in a highly collaborative, quality driven environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Designing and developing high quality C and C++ embedded software for medical devices used in sports medicine applications

  • Developing proof of concepts to support endoscopic, surgical navigation and electromechanical products

  • Owning the full lifecycle of software increments from requirements and acceptance criteria through to documentation and testing

  • Collaborating with cross functional and multi site agile teams to define requirements and deliver value driven solutions

  • Creating and maintaining automated testing and CI frameworks for embedded C and C++ codebases

  • Supporting debugging, root cause analysis and promoting a quality first mindset in a regulated environment

What will you need to be successful?

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 0 to 3 years of experience developing embedded software using C and C++ on bare metal and or embedded Linux platforms

  • Experience working with microcontrollers, RTOS or FPGA based systems and common hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART or USB

  • An understanding of CI CD pipelines, unit testing for embedded software and scripting using Python or Shell is beneficial

  • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast paced, regulated development environment

Theanticipatedbase compensation range for this position is $78,750.00 - $118,000.00 USD annually and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications, job-related knowledge/skills, geographical location. You will be entitled to receive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, and a variety of wellness offerings.
