Title: Middleware Engineer
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Contract
Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain middleware software components for
- embedded and real-time systems.
- Develop software using C, C++, C#, and Python following coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in middleware integration activities across operating systems,
- applications, and hardware platforms.
- Work with QNX RTOS environments and support system-level software
- development activities.
- Develop unit tests and assist in software verification and validation activities.
- Execute functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Analyze software defects, perform debugging, and support root cause
- investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, systems,
- and test engineers.
- Contribute to software design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
Required Technical Skills
- 1 to 3 years of software development experience.
Strong programming skills in:
- C
- C++
- C#
- Python
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of QT / QML.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git.
- Exposure to debugging tools and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with software testing, validation, and defect tracking.
