Job Description

We are building the best team in aviation to drive rapid development and deployment of X‑BAT. We are looking for an entry level Electrical Engineer ready to help bring X‑BAT to first flight. The role includes ownership of an avionics project and mentorship from senior engineers.

What You'll Do
  • Own a design that directly impacts the X‑BAT system and major flight test milestones.
  • Full lifecycle ownership: concept, design, verification, integration, flight test, and manufacturing.
  • Design circuit and embedded systems with analog, digital, power conversion, high‑speed, FPGA, MCU, EMI/EMC, etc.
  • Integrate and verify systems.
  • Perform environmental tests, qualification, and automation.
  • Debug, root‑cause, and drive resolution.
  • Design for high‑reliability, radiation tolerance, aggressive temperature changes, and high‑magnitude vibration.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong technical fundamentals.
  • Experience in an engineering team or club.
  • Knowledge of electrical design software (Altium, KiCAD, etc.).
Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: $81,456 - $122,184.

Full‑time offer: salary plus bonus, benefits, and equity.

Temporary offer: salary plus temporary benefits after 60 days.
