Entry-Level Elevator Technician – Start Your Career in Residential and Commercial Elevator Systems

Job Overview

  • Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Travel up to 50 miles daily)

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Enhanced Driver's Licenses

The Opportunity You will launch your career in a high-demand trade by supporting senior mechanics in the maintenance and installation of complex elevator systems. This role is designed for a motivated individual who wants to move beyond a typical labor job and build a long-term, specialized career with a growing industry leader. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship while ensuring the safety of vertical transportation for our diverse client base.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Assist lead mechanics with the installation and repair of elevator components in residential and commercial settings.
  • Prepare job sites by organizing specialized equipment and ensuring all necessary hand and power tools are ready for use.
  • Execute basic mechanical tasks using screwdrivers, drills, saws, and impact guns under direct supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment to protect team members and clients during active service calls.
  • Support the loading and unloading of heavy equipment and materials required for daily field operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Foundational knowledge of basic hand tools including Phillips and flathead screwdrivers.
  • Familiarity with the safe operation of power tools such as drills, saws, and impact guns.
  • Proven track record of punctuality and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs independently throughout the day.
  • Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in various onsite environments.
  • Valid Enhanced Driver's License and a reliable means of transportation.
  • Prior elevator industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience or educational background in Electrical or HVAC trades.
  • Strong desire to learn mechanical schematics and vertical transportation technology.
  • Bilingual in Spanish
