Job description

Job Title: Entry-Level Computer Technician

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Entry-Level Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience building, diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing desktop and laptop computers and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktop and laptop computers.
  • Assemble and disassemble computer systems and components.
  • Install, configure, and reload operating systems, including Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot hardware drivers, firmware, and software applications.
  • Configure and manage system hardware through tools such as Windows Device Manager and BIOS/UEFI settings.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and component replacements, including RAM, storage drives, power supplies, and other internal components.
  • Test and verify system functionality after repairs and operating system installations.
  • Assist with inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
  • Refurbish and prepare computers for resale or deployment.
  • Maintain organized work areas and accurate inventory records.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience building desktop computers from components.
  • Experience disassembling and reassembling desktop and laptop computers.
  • Experience installing and configuring Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience installing, updating, and troubleshooting device drivers.
