Job description

Entry-Level Regulatory Affairs Associate

Location: South Portland, ME
Pay: $20–$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM


We are seeking an Entry-Level Regulatory Affairs Associate to support regulatory activities in a medical device environment.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is new to Regulatory Affairs and wants to build experience in a highly regulated industry. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with documents and computer systems, and able to follow procedures accurately.


Prior Regulatory Affairs experience is not required.


Job Summary

  • Assist with organizing and preparing regulatory documents and submission materials
  • Support the preparation of regulatory submission and registration packages
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Maintain electronic and paper regulatory records
  • Track regulatory requests, submissions, and project timelines
  • Assist with updating product listings, registrations, licenses, and approvals
  • Help prepare routine regulatory reports and communications
  • Research regulatory requirements and procedures as directed
  • Assist with document quality control
  • Maintain tracking and document management systems
  • Support post-market regulatory activities
  • Prepare and organize documentation for registrations and other regulatory purposes
  • Work with internal teams to gather and organize required information
  • Follow established procedures, templates, and regulatory guidelines
  • Help ensure regulatory activities are completed accurately and on schedule


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Approximately 1 year of work experience preferred
  • No prior Regulatory Affairs experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with detailed documents and information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and electronic document systems
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions carefully
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
