Job description

Provide product technical support to PV&V field teams, channel partners, customers on complex product problems while developing channel partners' technical and Customer Support capability. May serve as a resource to other Product Support Representatives, Engineering, and / or Quality Improvement Teams, etc.
Duties:
Following the Problem Resolution Process, takes a lead role in troubleshooting and solving complex problems for field teams, channel partners, or customers using advanced diagnostic skills, and systems and tools to access all existing published information. Under the framework of established processes, takes a lead role in analyzing data from multiple sources and works through cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems on new products. May develop and author solutions/bulletins for complex problems that can be utilized by field teams or channel partners. Provide assistance in gathering identified parts needed for production intent updates.
May travel to the field to provide problem resolution on complex problems or update machines with experimental or production intent parts.
Will consider more entry level candidates recently coming from an Ag. Tech school or similar.
Education requirement
Minimum two-year degree in one of the following degrees or a combination of above skills and applicable work experience: Electrical Engineering Technology, Diesel Power Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Technology Management.
Technical experience
Strong understanding of diesel engine diagnostics including electrical and aftertreatment systems
Must have the electrical diagnostic background
Knowledge of Battery Electric Vehicle Systems.
Software familiarity
Microsoft office and Teams
Will use propriety diagnostic tools/applications, so must be technically adept.
