Job Description Summary:
Bel Brands is excited to offer an entry-level opportunity within our Supply Chain Customer Service team for a curious, analytical, and digitally fluent candidate who is eager to help shape the next generation of customer supply operations. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations, Logistics, or a related field, as well as early-career professionals who enjoy solving problems, interpreting data, and using technology to improve how work gets done. The Customer Service Analyst will learn the end-to-end order-to-invoice process while supporting customer order management, issue resolution, delivery execution, pricing accuracy, and invoicing. In addition to building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, this role will help identify order trends, service risks, process gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiency through data, reporting, automation, and responsible use of AI-enabled tools. Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Responsible for learning all aspects of supply chain relationship with assigned customers, including receipt of purchase orders and ensuring prompt resolution of any issues which may arise from the time the order is placed through on time delivery and invoicing of the purchase order
  • Utilize SAP order management system to process and audit customer orders, complete order changes, and monitor compliance of all assigned accounts
  • Use data, reporting, and customer order history to identify trends, exceptions, root causes, and improvement opportunities that support stronger service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Apply an AI-minded approach to daily work by questioning manual processes, validating system-generated outputs, identifying repeatable tasks, and recommending practical automation or workflow improvements
  • Support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of customer service dashboards, exception reports, scorecards, and service-performance summaries using Excel, SAP reporting, Power BI, or other available tools
  • Use responsible AI tools, where approved, to summarize issues, organize information, draft clear communications, and accelerate analysis while maintaining human review, accuracy, confidentiality, and sound judgment
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Finance, IT, and Master Data teams to connect customer needs with supply chain execution and continuous improvement priorities
  • Support RSM inquiries related to Supply Chain topics including product supply, logistics, samples, and customer specific information
  • Build understanding and learn to navigate software environments such as SAP, 3rd Party Logistics, and EDI Platform

Qualifications and Competencies
  • Entry-level to 2 years of relevant experience in customer service, supply chain, logistics, operations, analytics, retail/CPG, or a related business environment; internships, co-ops, academic projects, or campus leadership experience will be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred; recent college graduates with strong analytical curiosity and a desire to build a career in supply chain are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is required; exposure to SAP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, advanced Excel, AI-enabled productivity tools, or other reporting and analytics platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning order-to-invoice processes, enterprise systems, data structures, reporting tools, and new technologies quickly.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, analytical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills are essential, along with the ability to establish and maintain positive business relationships.
  • Curiosity about AI, automation, predictive analytics, and digital supply chain tools, with the judgment to validate outputs, protect confidential information, and use technology responsibly.
  • Ability to translate data into practical business insights, clearly explain issues, and recommend actions that improve customer service, order accuracy, on-time delivery, and process efficiency.

Working Conditions: This job is Chicago Remote. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns.
