Job Summary: The eCommerce & Configuration Specialist plays a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, product improvements, and business success through effective project management and technical expertise. The Specialist operates at the intersection of Communications & Digital Marketing, Software Development, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to support the usage of Dodge's eCommerce & Configuration portfolio. This software portfolio is used by thousands of daily users to select and configure products, design systems, and make purchases, and serves as the digital foundation of the Dodge business.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Backlog Management
• Prioritize and communicate product backlog needs for Selection Tools and eCommerce platforms.
• Ensure efficient and responsible allocation of available development resources.
• Balance short-term fixes with long-term strategic improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with other members of the Communication & Digital Marketing team to create a cohesive and market-leading digital customer experience throughout the entire customer journey.
• Liaise with Software Development, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.
Value Creation Analysis
• Gain a deep understanding of how Dodge's customers create value in their businesses.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the eCommerce & Configuration portfolio to better assist customers in achieving their goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Marketing
• Understanding of customer requirements gathering techniques to identify customer needs and preferences.
• Excellent project management skills to develop project plans, and ensure that projects are completed on-time and within budget.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles & practices, and experience with UX design tools (preferably Figma).
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and their functionality.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Possess a growth mindset with a willingness to learn, move fast, and embrace mistakes.

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of sitting at a workstation.
• Speaking in person and over the telephone or Teams online and the ability to hear, comprehend, and document detailed information from others.
• Ability to type, reach and grasp.
• Intermittent standing and walking within the office environment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing for extended periods over the phone and in person.

Essential Job Functions:

• Interact directly with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and develop requirements for expanding the Selection Tools & eCommerce portfolio.
• Utilize various techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret customer feedback, ensuring that product development aligns with customer expectations and needs.
• Interact with customers and business stakeholders to develop requirements for the expansion of Dodge's Selection Tools & eCommerce portfolio.
• Develop and maintain configuration models, the data and logic foundation for Selection Tools.
• Analyze and interpret customer feedback to inform product development decisions and ensure that products and services meet customer expectations.
• Prioritize and communicate product backlog needs for Selection Tools to ensure responsible and efficient use of available development resources.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for Dodge's Selection Tools & eCommerce portfolio.
• Collaborate with other members of the Communication & Digital Marketing team to ensure a market-leading digital customer experience throughout a customer's journey.
• Create documentation and lead training of the Selection Tools & eCommerce portfolio for customers and internal users.
• Provide service and support for Dodge's Selection Tools & eCommerce portfolio.
• Understand how Dodge's customers create value, and how Dodge's Selection Tools & eCommerce portfolio can assist customers in attaining their goals.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Regular attendance at work is a necessary function of the role.
