Description


Scentsy is looking for an upbeat and friendly Receptionist to help us create and maintain a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere when greeting visitors and answering phone calls. In addition, the Receptionist provides basic information and assists with clerical duties. The Receptionist is part of the Human Resources team and may assist with employee programs and events.


*This is a full-time (40 hours per week), entry-level position. The schedule for this role is Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm, and some overtime may be required. In addition, this person may occasionally be required to work outside regular business hours based on event needs.


What You'll Do:

  • Pleasantly serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
  • Confidently provide basic information such as company information, location, and contact information to visitors, callers, and employees
  • Answer, screen, and forward phone calls
  • Keep the lobby and reception area clean and tidy
  • Place internal orders for display and maintain current marketing materials within the lobby area
  • Process and track small employee programs (e.g., movie tickets, birthday orders, postage stamps, dry cleaning, companies' battery supply, etc.)
  • Sort incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution and maintain postage meter for company usage
  • Coordinate and schedule tours of Scentsy's campus by collaborating with multiple internal teams, managing calendar invites, collecting and organizing required paperwork, and notifying the kitchen to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Help maintain workplace security by checking people in, maintaining visitor logs, and issuing visitor badges when necessary
  • Work closely with Security team regarding deliveries, safety, and customer service
  • Schedule meeting rooms for employees and visitors
  • Work with Legal to obtain Non-Disclosure Agreements(NDA's) for scheduled visitors, vendors, and tour groups
  • Assist Human Resources and any other cross functional team with additional projects as needed
  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a clerical position or office environment using computer programs is preferred
  • Consistent and reliable attendance and timeliness
  • Ability to adhere to a high standard of confidentiality
  • Welcoming and friendly attitude with great customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to take on new tasks as requested
  • Ability to operate general office machines (copier, fax, printer, label maker, postage, etc.)
