AES Drilling Fluids is seeking a Dispatcher in Kermit, TX. The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling, coordinating and arranging the delivery of products to rigs in an efficient and timely manner. This position works 12-hour shifts on a 6 on / 3 off rotation. They work days for a month and then rotate to overnights the next month. 

hourly starting pay $27.50 plus overtime + quarterly + year-end bonuses.

WORK LOCATION: KERMIT, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Dispatch serves as primary contact for drilling fluids engineers to place orders for chemicals, mud, barite, and well-to-well transfers.
  • Determine appropriate routes and trucks to fulfill customer requirements and schedules AES drivers' daily schedules.
  • Dispatch continually monitors personnel locations and utilization in order to coordinate services and schedules.
  • Update well locations as needed.
  • Prepare AES tickets, safety information (e.g., MSDS), and bills of lading for chemical orders and mud trucks.
  • Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and respond to requests for services or products.
  • Receive and track incoming inventory in AES system and monitors estimated delivery dates on a daily basis to ensure all products timely arrive as scheduled.
  • Liaise with and inform the AES purchasing department of any delays or concerns regarding third-party trucking companies impacting the purchasing function.
  • Review and accurately processes credits for any returned product.
  • Track and update current well names and log, as changes occur.
  • Advise personnel and service-providers about traffic problems, such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, hazards, or other special instructions.
  • Oversee all communications within a specifically assigned territory.
  • Conduct special projects and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prefer 2 years of prior work experience in a dispatch role with experience in a support role in warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Bilingual language abilities (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel skills) and Outlook and strong internet research skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate, multitask and work in high pressure situations.
  • Valid driver's license and the maintenance of a driving record satisfactory to AES.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, flex schedule and be on call and work weekends as needed.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and fitness test.
