Reports to: Superintendent

Position: Full time

Schedule: 6 days per week, 12 hours per day


BFC is looking for Drill Rig Operators to support us on our projects in Florida and the Southeastern US. If you are a Drilled shaft & CFA Drilling Rig Operator, then we want to hear from you!


Requirements:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Responsibilities of this Position:

Operating BAUER drill rigs as required for site

Assisting in setting up the rig and equipment to conditions found as well as in moving it

Reporting rig and equipment maintenance and unanticipated field changes to the superintendent and suggest possible solutions

Performing and documenting pre/post-shift inspections and report drilling activities

Complying with regulatory safety regulations, code requirements and company policies

Participating in safety meetings and documentation of equipment safety inspection audits

Establishing and maintaining continuous positive and profitable working relationships with customers and a positive motivating work environment for the rig crew

Requirements

  Requirements:

2-5 years of experience in operating BAUER drilling and piling rigs for Drilled Shaft and CFA projects.

Valid driver's license

Willingness to travel

Experience required/Bauer Operator's Certification preferred but not required

OSHA 10/30 also preferred but not required


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times

Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather

Must be able to stand and sit for 10-12 hours


Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 2 years of related experience as Drill Rig Operator on construction sites preferred

Ability to work independently and on a team
