We are searching for compassionate dog lovers with pawsome personalities who are excited to join our growing team and provide exceptional overnight care for our puppy sleepover guests!


Current Open Position:

  • Entry Level, Part-Time Overnight Puppy Sleepover Attendant (with potential to become full-time) – up to 40 hours per week. Starting pay is approximately $12.00/hour, depending on experience.
  • This position is physically demanding (but incredibly rewarding) and focuses on providing attentive overnight care for our kennel-free puppy sleepover guests. Responsibilities include monitoring sleeping dogs, feeding and medicating when needed, potty breaks, cleaning and sanitizing play areas and sleeping spaces, bathing dogs when necessary, laundry, documenting overnight observations, responding calmly to emergencies, and ensuring every dog is safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the night.
  • Shifts needing to be filled are primarily overnight (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and include weekends and holidays, including either Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Barx Parx opened its doors in June 2018 and is Nevada's only INDOOR dog park, offering a year-round climate-controlled environment for dogs and their people.

We are open to the public 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and our overnight puppy sleepover team provides continuous care from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM while the facility is closed.


All team members receive training in every area of the facility, including customer service, bathing dogs, yard supervision, feeding, medication administration, cleaning, and overnight care. We are looking for proactive, outgoing, dependable individuals who take initiative and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

No Experience? No Problem!

We're happy to train the right person. You should:

  • LOVE dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities.
  • Be comfortable cleaning up after dogs and working around fur, slobber, and occasional messes.
  • Be able to stay alert, responsible, and calm while working independently overnight.
  • Be comfortable working in a loud, busy environment and have the attitude of "dog hair, don't care."
  • Be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of recognizing changes in dog behavior or health.
  • Be an efficient, hard-working team player who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for much of the shift.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
