YOUR DAY AS OUR ENTRY-LEVEL ELECTRICIAN

When you join our team as an Entry-Level Electrician, you'll start each day with safety at the forefront, making sure equipment and procedures are in place for a secure work environment. You'll assist with installations, maintenance, and repairs, learning to troubleshoot and solve problems with the support of your team. From reading blueprints to operating tools and equipment, every day offers new opportunities to build your skills while keeping facilities safe and functional.


REQUIREMENTS

If you're motivated, dependable, and eager to learn, this could be the perfect fit. Here's what helps you succeed in this role:

  • Prior experience is a MUST (training or schooling will NOT be provided)
  • Experience with basic knowledge of electrical trade methods, materials, tools, safety practices, and equipment
  • Possession of a valid Class C New York State driver's license
  • Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; trade school courses preferred
    Knowledge of electrical principles and their application to the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and devices
  • Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, safety practices, and equipment used in the electrical trade
  • Knowledge of safety factors in the operation of equipment and materials
  • Knowledge of applicable safety codes, ordinances, and regulations
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports on completed assignments
  • Ability to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and tools
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Ability to observe safety requirements and safe work practices and methods
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships
