Job description

About the Role

I’m a Cleveland real estate broker building out our YouTube channel and social media presence, and I’m looking for a videographer to be my shadow. You’ll follow me through my day showings, listing appointments, walkthroughs, team meetings, events, and life outside the office and capture it all.

This isn’t a corporate video job. It’s documentary-style, fast-moving, and personality-driven. If you like being in the middle of the action instead of behind a tripod in a studio, this is your seat.

What You’ll Do

Follow and film me during scheduled shoot days (properties, meetings, events, on-the-go content)

Capture B-roll, interviews, walk-and-talks, and candid moments

Shoot both horizontal (YouTube) and vertical (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) formats

Edit footage into polished long-form videos and short-form clips

Use AI-assisted editing tools to speed up turnaround (we’ll invest in whatever software makes you faster)

Manage footage organization, backups, and file delivery

Help brainstorm content ideas and hooks — I want a creative partner, not just an operator

What We Provide

All equipment: cameras, lenses, audio, gimbals, lighting, drone [adjust to what you actually own]

All editing software and AI tools

Transportation to shoots

You show up with your skills. We handle the rest.

What We’re Looking For

Resourceful, or Experience shooting and editing video (real estate, personal brand, or documentary work is a plus)

Strong eye for framing, movement, and pacing

Proficient in an editing suite (Veed, Riverside, Premiere, DaVinci, Final Cut, CapCut — whatever you’re fastest in)

Understands what performs on YouTube vs. Instagram vs. TikTok

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable adapting when the schedule shifts

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to shoot locations

Based in or near [Cleveland/your market area]

Schedule & Compensation

Open to part-time ( min of 25 hours/week) with a clear path to full-time

[$26-$40per hour] based on your talent.

Flexible scheduling — some early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends

How to Apply

Send your resume plus a link to your reel or 2–3 examples of your work. In your message, tell me one YouTube channel or creator whose video style you admire and why.

Bonus: send a 30–60 second vertical video you shot and edited yourself.
