SRM Concrete, a national leader in ready mix concrete, is hiring Fleet Mechanics to keep our fleet of mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other essential vehicles running safely and efficiently. As a Fleet Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles and equipment operate reliably to meet project demands and delivery schedules. If you’re committed to safety, quality repairs, and teamwork, we want to hear from you.


  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop and on job sites.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work using company systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques through ongoing learning.

  • Willingness to work variable shifts as needed to support fleet operations.
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply—we offer on-the-job training for those new to diesel mechanics or heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment technician is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems is preferred.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment; willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety standards and protocols.

  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL is preferred.
