Requirements

6 months to 1 year of verifiable diesel mechanic experience

Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Ability and knowledge to diagnose diesel engines, transmissions, and differential projects

Strong communication skills - team oriented

* Valid driver's license


Ability and willingness to work after hours shifts.


Preferred requirements:


Have a CDL or are willing to obtain one

  • Hold ASE certificates in HD trucks.
  • Hold a State of Michigan heavy-duty mechanic license
  • Are familiar with fleet maintenance software
  • Take pride in keeping trucks safe, reliable, and road-ready in a timely manner


Physical Requirements of a Diesel Tech:

Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds

Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspection

Enough vision to inspect repair work

Ability to use/operate hand tools, power tools, and other heavy machinery

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
