They often work under supervision, use diagnostic tools, and may need to obtain certifications like ASE to advance in the field.

What is the $160,000 mechanic job that Ford can't fill?

The high-paying mechanic job often referred to involves specialized diesel engine repair and maintenance, particularly for large commercial trucks and heavy equipment. These roles require advanced skills, certifications, and experience, and there is a significant labor shortage in this field, leading to high salaries around $160,000 for experienced technicians. These skills ensure accurate diagnostics, effective repairs, and safe, efficient service in a demanding automotive environment.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

Entry-level diesel technicians can potentially earn around $10,000 a month with experience, certifications, and working in high-demand environments such as fleet maintenance or specialized repair shops.
