Job Summary:

As a Generator Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance & repair of generator systems. You will work closely with our service team to ensure that all generators are operating efficiently and effectively, providing reliable power solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on generator systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with generators.
  • Conduct load bank testing and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
  • Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a generator technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of generator systems, both diesel and gas-powered.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required.
