Job Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer
Location: Ottawa, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will support cloud-native platforms, automation, and enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design and support cloud-native DevOps solutions.
  • Support cloud transformation initiatives for banking systems, citizen services, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and telecom environments.
  • Build automation solutions for cloud infrastructure and application delivery.
  • Support telecom network services, 5G platforms, edge computing, and cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code and cloud governance controls.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and engineering teams.
  • Implement monitoring and observability solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards.
  • Drive cloud optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based banking systems, government platforms, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom applications.
  • Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Strong CI/CD and automation experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, and security requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments.
  • Cloud certification preferred.
