Who You Are

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Infrastructure Engineer with extensive networking expertise to join our team. This position will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our AWS infrastructure for client projects in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS networking, security, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. This is an On-site role for 3+ days/week


What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Design and implement highly scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS infrastructure solutions for client projects.
  • Leverage your knowledge of AWS networking services (Transit Gateway, VPC, Route 53 DNS) to optimize traffic routing, enhance security, and ensure high availability.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration management.
  • Implement robust security measures within the AWS environment, including IAM policies, KMS encryption, and secure cross-account access controls.
  • Utilize AWS Organizations and Landing Zones to manage multiple AWS accounts efficiently, enforce security policies, and maintain organizational standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of infrastructure with project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, security controls, and operational procedures.
  • Stay up to date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in designing, implementing, and managing AWS infrastructure solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of networking concepts and hands-on experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53).
  • Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and access controls.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification (preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
