JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of all plant utilities,
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery/equipment as needed
  • Program/ machinery and processes within the company.
  • Support and work within the procedures of the maintenance management software systems to facilitate Preventative Maintenance activities, work order management, spare and replacement component purchasing.
  • Wire new panels for revise new and existing machinery as needed
  • Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Manager
  • Programming of PLC's
  • Select, install and repair bussways, flexible and rigid conduit, cable trough, wire and communication cables
  • Read, interpret and revise ladder logic, distribution, mechanical architectural, fluid power, alarm system, visual equipment and instrumentation drawings
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot high-intensity discharge, fluorescent and incandescent lighting, measure and report illumination levels and install and maintain emergency lighting systems
  • Able to work according to company and industry safety policies and regulations
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed in a CMMS
  • All other relevant duties
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • 433A Millwright certificate an asset.
  • 442A Electrician certificate an required
  • Basic electrical training and troubleshooting experience would be an asset
  • PLC programming experience is an asset
  • Prior diagnostic /troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs.
  • Ability to work on weekends, other shifts and overtime
