Hazen and Sawyer is seeking entry-level engineers for our Saratoga Springs, NY office. We welcome December 2026 graduates to apply. As part of our design and process teams, you will work on water and wastewater projects, including drinking water/wastewater treatment facility upgrades, biosolids planning and facility design, conveyance systems, stormwater management, water resources, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulic modeling, and design reports
  • Prepare engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and perform engineering calculations
  • Manage data for modeling and design
  • Attend client and internal project management meetings
  • Support multiple projects from planning through construction
  • Participate in fieldwork and site visits

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
  • Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EIT certification
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in environmental, civil, or chemical
  • Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC
