Location: Merrimack, NH
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $34.00 per hour
Position Overview
Adecco is seeking an Entry-Level Design Engineer for a client in Merrimack, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in product design, development, and manufacturing support within a collaborative engineering environment.
The Design Engineer will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and cross-functional teams to develop new products, improve existing designs, and support projects from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to develop products that meet market requirements and support key project initiatives.
  • Participate in product research and development activities, including concept generation, evaluation, and implementation of new ideas.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts for existing products and processes.
  • Generate and present technical reports, product documentation, and application information as required.
  • Assist with short-term projects including customer-specific requests, engineering changes, and design modifications.
  • Coordinate the development of engineering drawings for prototypes, manufacturing, and quotations.
  • Create conceptual sketches, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings as needed.
  • Perform product testing, evaluations, and analyses to support product design and application requirements.
  • Participate in corporate and departmental continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement programs.
Team and Collaboration
  • Support corporate, division, and team objectives through active participation and engagement.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
