In this position, you will have opportunities to work with groups responsible for the technology development and component/system design/analysis in support of the current and next generation of naval nuclear propulsion plants. Specific duties may include: Design, analysis, and testing of new naval nuclear propulsion components and technologies Development of improved manufacturing processes to improve cost and decrease development span times Component/system design, analysis, and support of primary and secondary system development Integration of the mechanical work with the broader reactor plant design team (including electrical, thermal, structural, performance, and nuclear engineers) A knowledgeable staff is available for mentoring, training, and guidance for new and developing engineers. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field. Pay Range $63,900.00 - $97,800.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guideline only.
