Junior Graphic Designer - Los Angeles, CA

Full Time – Associate

Food & Beverage Services

About The Job:

Gorilla Energy is a top 10 energy brand in the world disrupting the energy category that launched in the US (Gorilla USA Corp) in 2024. Backed through founding partner expertise across many different beverage brands, Gorilla Energy is not your typical start up beverage company. Gorilla has a history of proven success with great tasting items with transparent ingredients, social and distribution partnerships.

We're looking for a Jr. Graphic Designer to support creative production across digital and retail. Roughly 70% of the work is digital: paid social ads, email, landing pages, and web assets. The other 30% is print and point-of-sale: retail signage, sell sheets, packaging adaptations, and merchandising materials for our distribution partners.

This is an entry-level, production-focused role. You don't need to know everything on day one. You'll work under direct guidance from the marketing team, start with versioning and resizing existing creative, and take on more ownership as you grow. What matters most is that you're organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how design drives real business results.

This role is Los Angeles based and works from our office 5 days a week.

What You'll Do:

**Digital (primary focus)**

  • Produce static and motion ad variations in multiple sizes for Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube, working from approved concepts and templates
  • Version and resize email designs for campaigns and automated flows
  • Support landing page and site banner updates for desktop and mobile
  • Assist with basic video edits and simple motion graphics for paid social
  • Produce new variations of winning ads based on direction from the marketing team
  • Use AI image and video tools to generate variations and speed up production

**Print, POS, and Retail (secondary focus)**

  • Help produce point-of-sale materials for retail accounts: shelf talkers, case cards, cooler decals, header cards, and displays
  • Update sell sheets, one-pagers, and trade materials for distributor and buyer meetings
  • Assist with packaging artwork updates for new SKUs and retailer requirements
  • Prepare print-ready files following vendor spec sheets (we'll teach you our process)
  • Help maintain our production system of templates, specs, and file organization so retail assets stay fast and accurate as we add new retailers

**Cross-functional**

  • Keep asset libraries organized and consistently named so anyone on the team can find what they need
  • Follow brand guidelines across every channel, from a 9:16 TikTok ad to a cooler decal
  • Learn from creative test results alongside the marketing team

What We're Looking For:

  • Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in graphic design (internships and school projects count)
  • Comfortable in Photoshop and Illustrator; some exposure to InDesign
  • Basic familiarity with Figma, or willingness to learn quickly
  • Solid layout and typography fundamentals
  • Some experience with AI creative tools (Midjourney, Gemini/Nano Banana, Firefly, or similar), or genuine curiosity to learn them
  • Organized with files, naming, and handoffs
  • Able to juggle multiple small projects and hit deadlines
  • Receptive to direct feedback and quick to apply it
  • Los Angeles based or willing to relocate; must be eligible to work in the US

Bonus Points:

  • Strong AI prompting skills and experience with Google AI Studio for image and video generation workflows
  • Video editing or motion graphics experience (After Effects, Premiere, CapCut)
  • Any exposure to print production: dielines, bleeds, CMYK, vendor specs
  • Interest in CPG, beverage, or lifestyle brands
  • Experience or coursework in performance

This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
