Job description

Engineering department of rapidly growing custom foodservice equipment manufacturer seeks 3D Sheet Metal Designer (Solid Edge) for an entry level position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze drawings and specifications to produce custom foodservice equipment using Solid Edge 3D solid modeling software
  • Modifying existing designs as required to meet customer specified requirements
  • Produce drawings, specifications, diagrams, and supporting documentation for manufacturing foodservice equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience using Solid Edge or similar 3D solid modeling software creating parts and large assemblies - Solid Edge experience a must
  • Experience in placing parts correctly into large 3D assemblies
  • Well versed in creating fabrication and assembly drawings for producing equipment
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
  • Experience in design and manufacturing food service equipment a major plus and is considered for higher compensation range
  • Electrical and Refrigeration knowledge a plus, also considered for higher compensation range
  • Ability to communicate build method, bilingual a plus
  • Prior experience cnc programming is a plus
