Verification Engineer (Contract) – Madison, WI

Pay: Starting at $40/hr and above, depending upon skills & experience

Schedule: Full-Time | 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension)

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Verification Engineer for a contract opportunity with an innovative medical device company in the Madison area. This role will support the Research & Development team by leading verification and validation (V&V) testing for new product development and design changes. The initial assignment is expected to last 6 months, with the potential to extend based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

Lead verification and validation testing activities for new product development and product lifecycle changes.Write and execute test protocols, test reports, requirement changes, and related documentation.Coordinate testing efforts with interns and other verification engineers as needed.Ensure compliance with quality system policies and medical device regulatory requirements.Support additional engineering and project activities within the R&D team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required.2+ years of engineering experience.Medical device testing experience is highly preferred.Understanding of medical device regulations and compliance requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for 8–10 hours per day.

Lift up to 50 pounds.

Must have close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
