Job description

At Webco, we don't just make tube-we build careers, develop people, and continuously improve everything we do. We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on solving problems, improving processes, and making a real impact on the plant floor.
If you're energized by turning inefficiencies into opportunities and want to see your ideas come to life in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this role is for you.
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Webco, you'll be at the center of operations-working side-by-side with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to drive performance and innovation.
You will:
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in manufacturing processes
  • Design and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, and productivity
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, including workflow optimization and line balancing
  • Conduct time studies and analyze performance data to drive smarter decisions
  • Partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and reduce downtime
  • Develop and standardize SOPs and work instructions
  • Support new equipment launches, tooling improvements, and layout enhancements
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
  • Train and support production teams on new processes and improvements
  • Champion Lean and continuous improvement efforts across the operation
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work across teams

Preferred:
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement tools
  • Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
At Webco, our engineers:
  • Take ownership and follow through
  • Collaborate and build trust across teams
  • Stay curious and continuously improve
  • Put safety first-always
  • Hold a high bar for quality and performance
  • Show up engaged and ready to make a difference
Work Environment
This role splits time between office and plant floor. You'll be hands-on in a dynamic manufacturing setting, with:
  • Exposure to equipment, noise, and production activity
  • Required PPE in plant areas (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes)
  • Physical activity including walking, standing, and occasional lifting
Why Webco?
Because here, your work matters. You won't be sitting on the sidelines-you'll be driving real change, developing your skills, and helping build something better every day.
