CNC Programmer & Operator - Custom Cabinetry Kalispell, Montana Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Operator with hands‑on experience in custom cabinetry and woodworking. This role is ideal for someone who understands the craftsmanship behind fine cabinetry and can translate that knowledge into precise, efficient CNC machining. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, comfortable in a fast‑paced shop environment, and capable of producing high‑quality components with consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC routers and related machinery for custom cabinet production.
  • Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and cut lists to create accurate CNC programs.
  • Optimize tool paths, feeds, and speeds to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and material conservation.
  • Perform machine setup, calibration, tool changes, and routine maintenance.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and shop staff to resolve production challenges.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist with general woodworking tasks when required, including assembly, sanding, and fitting.
  • Program CNC Router using CAD/CAM software to produce custom cabinet components.
