Position Summary
Valvoline Express Care / Castrol Oil Change is seeking motivated and customer-focused Entry Level Automotive Technicians to join our team. No previous automotive experience is required—we provide paid training to help you develop the skills needed for a successful career in preventive automotive maintenance.
As an Entry Level Technician, you will assist customers by performing preventive maintenance services while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced team environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by evaluating customers' vehicle maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive maintenance services, including:
- Oil and filter changes
- Fluid inspections and refills
- Air filter replacement
- Windshield wiper replacement
- Light inspections and replacement
- Tire pressure checks
- Complete vehicle safety inspections.
- Recommend maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Work efficiently with team members to ensure excellent customer experiences.
- Participate in ongoing training and development.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work with hands above shoulder level.
