Floral Driver
Part Time/Full Time - Store Entry Level
Reports Directly to:
Store Director, Floral Manager, Floral Director
Directs:
All Floral Associates

Pyramid Foods believes in supporting our local communities and is dedicated to providing our customers and employees quality food and service at the best prices! In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us to provide outstanding service in a clean and friendly atmosphere. Your role in the store is to provide prompt, courteous delivery of floral orders.
Daily Operations
  • Providing exceptional service to all clientele
  • Must possess good communication skills, phone etiquette, and driving skills
  • Must have a clean driving record and if applicable CDL
  • Time management skills, dependability, and basic automotive maintenance skills
  • Must maintain a clean vehicle, checking the vehicle daily for any issues and reporting, keeping a driving log of all deliveries
  • Must have basic directional skills, map reading, and knowledge of delivery areas

Company Standards
  • Adhering to all safety, sanitation, and training policies
  • Maintaining clear communication with other departments
  • Complying with all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tag

Basic Functions and Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use. Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
This is medium work requiring good, corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
