Local CDL-A Commercial Delivery Driver- Day Shift


Coastal Forest Products, a leading wholesale distributor of specialty building products, is currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Local CDL-A Commercial Delivery Driver to join our team and ensure timely, secure product deliveries to our valued customers. This is a local, Monday – Friday, route and daytime position, no touch, with a flexible start time based out of our headquarters in Bow, New Hampshire.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractor and trailer safely and responsibly at all times.
  • Deliver products accurately according to assigned routes to local lumber yards.
  • Utilize an Electronic Log Device (ELD) in compliance with state regulations and company policy.
  • Report maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly.
  • Assist with securing loads using straps or vehicle curtains as necessary at delivery sites.
  • Perform all required vehicle inspections and maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Complete daily paperwork and communicate effectively using company-provided electronic devices.
  • Represent the company professionally, fostering positive relationships with customers.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current CDL Driver's License Class A with a valid DOT Medical Card (or ability to pass a DOT Physical).
  • 2 years of professional driving experience is preferred, at least 1 year of CDL-A experience is required 
  • Entry level CDL-A drivers may be considered.
  • Strong commitment to following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Knowledge of CSA and FMCSR regulations.
  • Acceptable driving record meeting Insurance Provider standards.
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and DOT Drug Test.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, squat, or pull as required.
  • Capability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable sitting for extended periods during driving.
  • Able to work outdoors in varied and extreme weather conditions.
