Qorvo's Software Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, Connectivity and Sensors and Global Operations business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Summary
The intern will contribute to the improvement of diverse manufacturing Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) dataflows and support the development of applications that leverage this data. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and ensure the reliability and scalability of data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Assist in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL dataflows for manufacturing processes
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of applications that utilize manufacturing data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions
  • Analyze data quality and integrity, identifying areas for improvement
  • Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions for future reference
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to dataflows and applications

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with completion of at least two years of school prior to beginning of internship
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Proficiency with at least one object-oriented scripting language (e.g., Python, C#, Ruby, etc.)
  • Working proficiency with relational database design, SQL query construction, and stored procedures
  • Familiarity with web and frontend frameworks (.NET, Django, React, Vue, etc.)
  • Familiarity with file parsing, sharing and transfer mechanisms, XML/JSON file formats
  • DevOps familiarity using GitLab or GitHub
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
