Description: Contributes to and carries out Data Department's strategic initiatives, as directed by the Director of Data and Assessment. Performs secretarial duties, including data entry and editing, while supporting all department members and functions.
Job Summary:   7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 260 days/year.
Essential Job Functions:





  • Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in spelling, proofreading and the correct use of grammar.
  • Effective organizational planning and time management skills.
  • Interacts comfortably/confidently with the public.
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures.
  • Assist with EMIS/state and federal reporting as directed by supervisor.
  • Monitor tuition module and payments (non-residents educated in CHUH/residents educated elsewhere)
  • Review/update student information for residents and non-resident court placed students in local and state databases.
  • Notify home districts of any new placements in CHUH.
  • Confirm and approve tuition funding per scheduled timelines.
  • Monitor, review and/or update all enrollment information for students educated out of district including:
  • Review, process, and confirm payment of invoices for students educated out of district (listed above), including sending any necessary contracts and processing SF-14PD forms for Reserve students.
  • Review students eligible for excess costs.
  • Review students eligible for Threshold costs.
  • Perform other specific job-related duties as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and/or at least 3 years working in an accounting or data-related field. An acceptable score on a pre-employment skill test may be required.
  • Advanced office administration skills substantiated by training and/or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to lift/mover supplies/equipment weighing 15 pounds.
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures.
  • Demonstrates evidence of appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (i.e. reading comprehension, written/oral communication, mathematical reason/application, etc.).
  • Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
  • Demonstrates the ability to implement administrative principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct.
  • Exhibits consistent, impartial and resourceful critical-thinking skills.
  • Meets all mandated health screening requirements.
  • Demonstrates proficiency using equipment and software applications associated with the position.
  • Training/work experience in bookkeeping and data processing is advantageous.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in data analysis and reporting
