Salary: $35 - $50k commensurate with experience.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Designer you will:

  • Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
  • Attend regular development meetings
  • Address limitations of technologies and materials involved in the CAD process
  • Make revisions to models as requested
  • Keep up to date on all modern advancement in material and software technologies
  • Pursue ongoing education in the field
  • Utilize large databases of material property information to best select materials for modeling
  • Assist with packaging evaluations and designs of other engineers or designers and other departments.
  • Assist with the gathering of sufficient information to enable drawings
  • Create CAD drawings
  • Assist Sr. Engineers/Designers perform special engineering project assignments

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum 2 year degree in related field (Engineering, Drafting, CAD design, etc.) Preferred
  • 1+ years formal education/experience utilizing Solidworks CAD software
  • 2 years Solidworks/CAD experience highly preferred
  • Exposure to working in a professional environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • An abundance of patience to see a complicated project to the end
  • Ability to think in a three-dimensional manner
  • Ability to understand drawings and specifications
  • MS Office applications user level experience 
  • Comfortable with sitting for long periods of time
